Twenty five years after a needlepoint sale, from the kitchen of her Gloucestershire home raised £200 for the NSPCC, Mary Howard’s innovative fairs have raised £1 million for some 50 charities. Now, to mark her Silver Jubilee, Mary has exclusively dedicated 2007 to the charity that began it all … and which has remained a main beneficiary over the past quarter century.
